How to install a cooling fan on your PC’s case?

where will the sticker side of the fan be placed? inside or outside? air to be shovelled from the inside of the “cage” to the outside?how does that cooling fan mount in there?

What most cases do is put a front fan as the “intake” and another fan on the back as the exhaust. You’ll have to see for yourself which way the fan blows the air. It won’t seriously mess up something if you have the side of the case off to turn on the fans for a few seconds to see which way the air blows.

The fan should have 4 screws. If you’re replacing fans, the screws or retention brackets should already be there, just swap them out.
