Just recently in the first half of 2008, Linux released Ubuntu 8.04. I must say that Ubuntu has been my favorite open source Operating System ever developed, on addition to that Ubuntu 8.04 is superb compared to the previous versions. I am in fact knocking myself out with open source software that I refer to as open mind software.

In the same period Fedora 9 saw its way out too, with major improvements, advancements and new technology concepts becoming a reality.

You can now start experimenting with the new version of OpenSUSE, OpenSUSE 11.
OpenSUSE 11 can now be downloaded as a 4.5 GB Live DVD or, GNOME or KDE live CDs with fewer included packages. The live DVD includes KDE, GNOME and XFCE desktops and I'm yet to analyze it upon downloading.

Ubuntu 8.04, Fedora 9 and OpenSUSE 11, all have improvements aiming at making Linux easier, comfortable and user friendly for newbies to use.
